Dental Implants Are Made Out Of Titanium. So Are Rockets.

1. They are made from the same material as NASA rockets.

Dental implants are created from titanium which is also used in creating the frames for National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) rockets. This material is used due to being very strong and light.

2. Dental implants can’t get cavities.

When restoring damaged or missing teeth using dental implants, a dental crown is anchored securely on the abutment that connects it with the titanium base of the dental implant. Since it is made out of porcelain fused to metal or zirconium, you can’t get cavities. However, our dental experts do recommend maintaining a good oral hygiene.

3. Dental implants were first used around 600 AD.
