What is Invisalign?

Invisalign aligners are custom-made, clear aligners that many people use to straighten their teeth. Each set of aligners are custom made specifically for your requirements, so that they use the exact amount of force required for proper treatment. By following a custom treatment plan created by your doctor, Invisalign aligners will move your teeth into position step by step after each appointment, resulting in a beautiful and straight smile at the end of treatment.

Why are Invisalign Aligners Better Than Braces?

Invisalign is designed with comfort, convenience and appearance in mind. They are essentially invisible aligner alternatives to traditional orthodontic treatment methods - the unlikeable brackets and wires that come with traditional metal braces.

  • The smooth design and custom fit of Invisalign teeth straightening aligners ensure comfort and more control over the straightening process. Unlike traditional braces that are fixed, Invisalign aligners are easy to remove, allowing you to brush and floss your teeth without any problems and helping you to maintain proper oral hygiene.

  • This also means that you can eat and drink whatever you want and take part in sport activities as normal. They also require less frequent visits to the dentist for adjustments, just every 4 to 6 weeks, meaning it’s easier to see treatment results and you can spend less time worrying about your next trip to the dentist.

Invisalign Aligners

What Does Invisalign Look Like?

Invisalign aligners are thin, clear, removable teeth straighteners that are made out of a flexible plastic – a patented thermoplastic material named SmartTrack® that was designed specifically for Invisalign treatment. They are MHRA approved, do not contain latex, gluten, bisphenol A (BPA) or bisphenol S (BPS). No brackets, no wires and best of all – none of the restrictions that are common with traditional metal braces.

  • How Long is Invisalign Treatment?

  • On average, Invisalign treatment takes around 12 to 18 months to complete and you will need to wear the Invisalign aligners for about 20 to 22 hours a day.

Upon each visit to our Invisalign dentist, you will receive a new set of adjusted aligners that will continue to gradually push your teeth into the right place to give you the beautiful, straight smile you desire.

Invisalign Treatment Process

  • 1. First, you’ll come for a free consultation with our Invisalign dentist.

  • 2. After your consultation, a detailed treatment plan will be provided.

  • 3. Custom-made aligners will then be created specifically for your teeth.

  • 4. You will then need to attend regular appointments in order to change the aligners until the desired result is achieved.

Invisalign Treatment Options
At our clinics, we offer 3 types of Invisalign treatment:

Invisalign i7 | Dental Art Implant Clinics

Invisalign I7 is used to make small adjustments to teeth. Quite popular with patients who have previously worn braces and may now be starting to experience teeth moving out of position again.

Invisalign Lite | Dental Art Implant Clinics

Invisalign Lite is ideal for less complicated cases. This Invisalign treatment type has a much shorter treatment duration, but this does not affect the end result.

Invisalign Full | Dental Art Implant Clinics

Invisalign Full is the most popular type of Invisalign treatment. This treatment takes a longer time but allows your dentist to pay even more attention to every detail as the treatment progresses, ensuring a perfect end result. It is specially designed to straighten the teeth even in the most complex cases.
